i just checked it out with my michael jackson 'this is it' 3d glasses that i got from target ... that's pretty cool. how'd you do that?

The same way the people in the movies do it -- film the scene with two cameras -- or, in this case, take two pictures with the same camera -- where the lenses point at the same object and are about 2 inches apart, like your eyes.
